Day 1: Ladera to Ely, Nevada

Heading out

Have to start out by driving back up to SF and crossing the new Bay Bridge (very symbolic).

Then across California and into Nevada.

Leaving Austin, NV at sunset. This is “high desert” – about 7,000 ft and dry dry dry.

 

Made it to Ely, NV the first night.
