Day 9: Scene in Syracuse

Stayed with good friends, Rick and Sharon in Syracuse.

Started with a night around the famous Monroe Firepit.  (Sorry, didn’t get a photo).

Took a couple hikes through the local woods, where I learned to push over dead trees.

Then Rick took us to the local apple farm where we toured (tasted) the produce.

Finished off the day with dinner at the famous Dinosaur BBQ in downtown Syracuse.

  1. Looks so good! We’ll have to arrange a visit to California’s Apple Hill outside Placerville next fall for comparison.
